Training Workshops

Description: Six weekend workshops over  six months provide a comprehensive  Introduction to Energy Medicine.  We meet in Suffield, CT, to learn chakra dynamics, practice high sense perception, and  understand the (largely unknown) role of energy consciousness in shaping reality.

Each Saturday, PowerPoint presentations illustrate the life issues processed through each energy center.  We also learn and practice a healing technique (see below).  On Sundays you'll become familiar with  the Energetic Body Types: Creator, Lover, Supporter, Achiever, and Challenger.  Which one are you? (Hint:  We all embody characteristics of each one.) These ways of holding energy in the body offer  a wealth of insight into human nature, revealing  why we act the way we do.   

Throughout the course, shamanic journeys (and other meditative practices) help us develop our ability to perceive beyond the five physical senses. Additionally, we practice running energy through the body so that you become a grounded channel of healing energy. You will also become familiar with the metaphysical components of physical issues.  

Students practice giving and receiving the following healings:  Synchronizing Brain Function, Full Body Balance, Spinal Cleanse and Strengthening, Hormonal Balance, Adrenal Balance, and Healing on all Seven Levels of the Field.   Readings are assigned between weekends; a short reflection paper is required after each weekend. The program nurtures personal/spiritual growth.  Opening the Channel's multi-faceted mission  includes enjoying sacred community, supported by guidelines that foster safety and trust among like-minded people on a shared path of personal/professional growth. Opening the Channel aims to guide you toward greater self-awareness and authenticity.  Join us and enjoy experiential learning , integrating theory and practice in a warm and encouraging space.  The atmosphere is relaxed, with respect for the nature of the work.

Please reserve March 13-14 in case a previous weekend has to be made up due to weather.

Cost to Register: Each weekend training is $499 for a total of $2,999.  A deposit of $499 will reserve your spot.  The remainder of the tuition must be paid in full by Saturday, September 19.
